Farewell Dear Friend...

Havik passed away at 2:30 this morning. He will be missed more than words can say. Now to decide how to tell the girls when they wake up. Sleep will not come easy.

I'm so sad for you! Here are my favorite Havey memories...

* Finding him under the seat of your car when he was just a tiny puppy. I couldn't believe he could fit under there. You guys had come over to Pendleton when Tony had applied at the PD. We played at the park. I was so excited for the possibility that you guys were going to move over here.
* Him and Hunter playing fetch in the water at Jubilee. And the fact that Havok was able to grab 2 tennis balls in his mouth. (With Rita on the shore barking at the two of them playing.)
* Him chewing (gently) on my arms whenever I sat still long enough. He must of thought I was the a human chew toy. I always took it as a compliment... that he loved me so much he just didn't know how to contain himself around me.

He will be missed!

I'm so sad for you guys. This is sure to be a hard day for all of you. I know he was a huge part of your family and he will be so missed. I love Taunya's post remembering the fun times with him. My prayers are with you all today.

Havik is running with the angels now!

There has got to be a special angel up there who works the night shift... one who needs a faithful companion to walk miles and miles in the clouds...one with an arm of steel to throw endless tennis balls. Havik we will miss you too.

Losing a beloved pet is soooo difficult for all of you, but especially your little girls because they've always had him in the house. Know that my heart goes out to your family and there will always be a special place in your hearts for Havik.
