My Little Picassos...

The girls spent yesterday morning painting in the garage. It was the best!!! They could have painted for hours, but I got tired of being their errand girl... More water, More pink, The dog took my brush, More pink, More paper, More pink. We wrapped it up after an hour or so, but I'm sure this will be favorite activity now that we have space. I also have ten edible play dough recipes that I can't wait to try. Life Is Good!

Pee Pee In The Potty...

I have sang the songs... I have offered the bribes... I have read her the books... I've had her in panties... I have had her naked... Two days--No luck.

One...

Two...

Three...

If it were only that easy.

Come on little fairy princess, spread some magic potty dust on yourself and leave behind the diapies forever... Please, for momma or at least for some chocolate.

We're home...

Tony brought our old home to our new home today. There it is tucked up beside the house. This was a monumental day. I think it helped Kylee understand that the house is our home now.

Pool Side...

Bet ya didn't know we have multiple pools at our new house... aka ... packing totes. We have A LOT of these. They work great. The funny thing is the girls kept wanting to go into Kylee's pool because it was warm. I didn't have the heart to tell them why. We will prevail on potty training this summer. The big girls in the picture are neighborhood babysitters in training. Just a little too young to stay alone, but great for endless entertainment while I am planting shrubs.

Court Jester Kyndra...

Kyndra performed in her first ballet recital this weekend. We were so proud of her!!! Her grandma and grandpa were here to watch and her daddy gave her beautiful flowers when he gathered her from the stage. She says she wants to do ballet even when she is a grown-up kid.

Dream Come True...

It has always been my dream to have a nice, flat, green backyard with a swingset. Having a wonderful outdoor play area for my children has always been part of my "vision" and thanks to my wonderful husband, grandpa Bill, and some special friends it has happened. I could just pinch myself as I watch them play in the backyard and imagine all the memories that will be made.

Two weeks tomorrow...

We FINALLY got our internet hooked up at our new house. We have officially been out of the trailer for two weeks tomorrow. We lived there one year and four days. It has been great!!! and a little overwhelming!!! We are sort of spinning our wheels not knowing where to start. I had to call in reinforcements (Taunya and Anne) to get my kitchen put together. We have T.V., toys, gym, and bathroom stuff set up. There are many many boxes to sort through. I can't, I just can't dig in until school is out. I really haven't taken pictures of the house in a long time... they need people in them, so hopefully this new house journey will be... from this point on the HOME that we raise our kids in and pictures will be posted of the house that way. I'm also rather excited to have visitors for real. We didn't get many at the trailer. I do proudly have a new coffee pot displayed on the counter just waiting to pour a cup for visitors and Kyndra LOVES to get water out of the fridge door.

Kylee had a little trouble sleeping at first mostly because she was overwhelmed at being in a room away from mom and dad, but also because she has figured out that when mom and dad are in another room she can sneak out of bed to play. One day during nap I found her in the tote that we had been storing her clothes in snoozing away... a little bit of playing coupled with the need for a small space I guess.
